Nixie

The Nixie is a shapeshifter and therefore sometimes appears as an older and shorter person, and sometimes as a beautiful creature in human shape. The danger with the Nixie is that it lures people into the water with the help of music, sometimes playing the fiddle.

Once pulled into the water, the Nixie forces the catch to work for them, such as filling a bottomless barrel with water.

The Sirens are Greek sea nymphs who use their voice to lure sailors into the depths of the Mediterranean Sea. Even Odysseus, the hero who had already overcome several obstacles, had his sailors tie him to the mast to prevent him from following the music of Sirens into the water.

In Lyminster, East Sussex, (not far from here!) a dragon is hiding in the Knuckerhole. It is not known to Juniper's Act what sound or music the Knucker uses, but be wary when visiting the area for you might be pulled into a bootmless watery hole.
